Tenrec at the mall
"Hmm..."
The tenrec had been wandering a bit, having no real clue what to do at the moment. After her recent, and most assuredly SPECTACULAR job at saving Central City she'd taken up temporary residence there. Not as if she really had anywhere else to go, plus easier to find a bigger place here. Better than the motel.
And if it ever got worse, then they'd just ditch it. Onto the next one, with the few things, few people, she actually cared about. A lot of people probably woulda thought it to be a weird life.
"I don't get it. What's all the excitement about?" Surge muttered to herself as she awkwardly glanced around. "It's just a big store."
Then again, she wasn't really normal to begin with. Wandering around a mall like this didn't quite suit her, even as she saw other people walking around and enjoying the place. Moving from one store, stall, or food place one after the other. But to her it just kinda felt big and confusing, and not really appealing either. Well besides the food maybe, food is always good.
if it weren't for the pretzel she were munching on then she'd have regret coming here to begin with. Then again she still might if she doesn't find anything to entertain here soon... Or another pretzel stand.
"Guess I should try shopping?" Surge surmised as she walked into a random store within Central City's mall. Seeing another group of girls inside sge pondered if sge should have invited someone, but she put it aside as she searched the shelves. "...This torn up shirt is 50 dollars? What kinda overpriced garbage?"
Funny words from a girl who doesn't know how much 50 dollars is.
Surge kept looking at clothes as she ate the last bit if her pretzel. Probably drawing odd looks from doing so, but she was too scary for anyone to call her out on it.
