Update on Pink & Green Bathroom Re-do
About six months ago, I posted photos of a small bathroom that I wanted to redecorate for a relatively "low cost." The walls were deep pink, the floor cracked, and the cabinets needed removal or repainting. On the positive side, the fixtures (sink, tub, and toilet) were a lovely turquoise (sea foam) color, but I didn't know if I should keep them.
Thanks to the overwhelming advice I received from this group, I kept the green fixtures, repaired instead of replaced, and leaned into the green color. Wood trim and cabinets were simplified and then painted a soft white; the fishbelly white floor was replaced with a soft oak color and the walls were papered in a Zenith Green Abstract Geometric print that complemented the seafoam fixtures and the brass/white touches. An art print from the 1970s completed the look.
Many thanks for the help in this.
