Built a booking tool for solo dentists who are also their own receptionist — would this help you?

I'm a final-year ECS student. I built a web app for solo dental practices that handles the booking admin most dentists end up doing themselves between patients.

What it does:

- Patients book online in 30 seconds, no account or password needed

- Cancellations auto-offer the freed slot to the next waitlisted patient — no manual calling

- Reminders go out automatically, keeping no-shows low

- The only thing that ever reaches the dentist is a genuine exception (like an after-hours request), and that's a single accept/decline tap

Everything else runs itself. Demo video attached..

Note: the clinic name and website in the demo are fictional, used to showcase the concept — not a real existing practice.

Curious if this is a real pain point for solo/small practices, and whether something like this, customized for your clinic, would actually be useful. Open to honest feedback either way.

Building an early-stage RAG tool for security/compliance questionnaires — does this solve a real problem?

I've been building QuestionPilot, an early-stage tool that uses RAG to help companies answer security/compliance questionnaires from their own policy and security documents.

The current pipeline looks roughly like:

  1. Hybrid retrieval — BM25 + vector search + RRF
  2. Relevance grading — reranking + fallback
  3. Answer generation — generated answers with citations
  4. Validation — checking whether the citations actually support the generated answer, followed by a confidence score to determine whether it can pass automatically or needs human review

It's still very much in the early stages, and I'm trying to validate the problem before building too much further.

I'd particularly like honest feedback from people who work with security, compliance, sales engineering, or production RAG systems:

  • Does this actually solve a meaningful problem in your workflow?
  • How much time do teams realistically spend answering security/compliance questionnaires?
  • What parts of the process are still painful even with existing automation tools?
  • Would a tool focused specifically on grounded answers + citation validation + human review be useful, or is this already solved well enough by existing products?
  • Could you see a company paying for something like this? If so, what would make it worth paying for?

I'm not trying to pitch a finished product here — I'm trying to figure out whether there's a real problem worth building around.

Any brutally honest feedback would be appreciated.

[Student] Software Engineering / AI Resume — Targeting Startups & Top Product Companies — Please Review

Hi everyone, I'm a final-year computer science student from India currently targeting Software Engineer / AI Engineer roles at startups and other top product companies.

I'm looking for a detailed and honest review of my resume before I start applying seriously. In particular, I'd like feedback on:

  • Whether my resume is strong enough for SDE/AI Engineer roles
  • Whether my projects demonstrate enough engineering ability
  • Which sections or bullet points are weak
  • Whether the formatting and structure are appropriate
  • What I should change to improve my chances of getting interviews

I'd especially appreciate feedback from people with experience hiring or working as software engineers at startups or other top product companies.

Please be as critical as necessary — I'd rather know what is wrong and fix it before applying.
