Earlier this month I noticed a gray pop up appear when I hit the download button on a ROM telling me to "disable my ad blocker. Ad generated revenue etc.. and that bandwith is expensive" then notice my router app flooded with threat blocks mostly malware and one of phishing and deception. It continued to escalate until I removed the tab and all cookies and delete and reset from all sites in Chrome settings. This starts up again if I were to go back. I have a feeling the ROMs are still safe but just being on the site is the problem now. It's unfortunate, vimms lair was never like that before.
