CFP Mock 2 (Nov 2026 Cycle)

CFP Mock 2 (Nov 2026 Cycle)

hey everyone! sitting for the exam soon and I took the second mock exam and felt fairly confident while I was taking it but I definitely missed question/got tripped up on details and picked the wrong answer.

Anyone have advice on how to better understand retirement, estate, and insurance? I have been using a mix of Dalton, FreeFellow, and AdviseWise but I feel like I should be scoring so much better than where I am now.

Anyone also have advice for being able to tackle the CFP questions themselves? The wording of the Mock felt harder in some aspects/were trying to trick the tester, especially in the second half of the exam.

Retirement Help

Hi Everyone! I am sitting for the exam in November and I am really trying to improve my knowledge/scoring in the retirement section. Does anyone know of some good resources to best study the differences/similarities between the different types of retirement plans? I feel like I know very basic information but not to the level of detail I need. I have tried Kaplan and Dalton for resources/lectures and I have several notebooks of notes and two shoeboxes full of notecards and it isn't sticking. It is making me so anxious.

Anyone have any advice or study tips on how to remember everything?

What was your test experience scoring like?

Hey everyone! I am such an anxious test taker and find myself getting bogged down on the details that truly do not matter but I hyperfixate on them.

For those who took their exams in a testing center, did you get your results immediately? Did the page just say "preliminary pass" or "pass" if you passed but show the diagnostic scoring page if you failed? Did it just show a percentage of what you got right and then you had to wait for the mail to come with the final results? Thank you! Sending the best vibes to the July test takers right now!
