Why do you watch F1
Hi All.
Just wondering why someone would be interested in watching Formula 1. It is clear that it is a millionaire club and unless you are quite a rare human being you cannot even dream about racing in one.
I know there are few examples from not so well off backgrounds but you have to admit it is a sport where you have to be rich from birth in order to be able compete.
I don’t get it when people get to the Grand Prix and wave the flag for an already millionaire and support them with their ticket for which they paid 3rd of their monthly income.
A comparison to other sports shouldn’t be made as with those you can always dream for your children to one day get to that point and become good but if you are from a middles class family or below you know there is no chance. I genuinely don’t get it. Please give me your thoughts.
