Massive 5080 Lian Li A3 build
Hey guys, Just wanted to show my Lian Li A3 Build with a massive 3.5 slot 360mm length 5080.
Overall, pretty happy with the build. Both temps and performance are amazing. It will primarily be used as my couch gaming PC for 4k cinematic games.
Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Undervolted PBO: -25)
- Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo
- CPU Paste: ARCTIC MX-6
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B850M-A
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5080 Aorus Master (360mm 3.5slot GPU, 3175mhz 975mv +3000 memory)
- RAM: 32GB Patriot Viper Elite 5 Ultra RGB DDR5 (41mm height, 6000MHz CL28)
- Storage: 1x WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB, 1x WD_BLACK SN850X 2TB
- PSU: Lian Li SXP SP1200 (ATX, 140mm x 150mm x 86mm)
- Front Intake: Noctua G2 140mm Chromax Black
- Rear + Top Exhaust: Thermalright TL-C12C
Mods (Purchased on Etsy):
- 25mm Riser Feet (for more GPU airflow underneath)
- ATX PSU Roof Mount (to fit the massive GPU + intake fan)
- Magnetic Front Fan Rails for 140mm intake fan
Temps:
- Idle: CPU 40c, GPU 35c
- Gaming: CPU ~55c, GPU ~50-55c
- Max (Stress Test/Shaders Compile): CPU 78c, GPU 65c
3DMark Score: 10225 https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/157611340
Issues:
- Since this specific motherboard has the NVME above the GPU slot, it took a little maneuvering to actually get the 5080 in there.
- Little room for cable management due to GPU size.
- Needed to unplug the front USB header cable from the motherboard because the clearance is tight enough that the cable will slightly touch the GPU fan.
Happy to answer any questions.
