Basically, the Title. I was working with Anthropic, and I tried to get it to write my character in my fan fiction singing a copyrighted song. Anthropic did not like that, apparently, and everything got fucking shut down on me. What do I do from here?

I found this and thought it would be useful. Basically, project knowledge, especially for things like Google Drive, does not update automatically. The solution? Delete the files in your project knowledge, and it auto-updates what it knows once you reupload them.

Soooo I have been using 4.6 for basically the entire time I’ve been using this AI so I just wanted opinions on the different, newer versions. Recently gave 4.8 opus ago but gotta say it was pretty underwhelming. Tried fable but that immediately locked everything down so that’s a no go for now lol
How’s opus 5 in terms of creative writing compared to 4.8? Is 4.7 even worth testing? Mostly curious about opus 5 though since that is the big upgrade
Recently took a break from using the AI for a month in order to edit my story. Got back to writing new chapters two days ago and the AI feels significantly more… neurotic? Where it’s not properly addressing my character sheets I’m providing it in project memory. And also for some reason if I try and use the Google Drive extension and ask to look at a document, it translates that document into the a text file rather then a doc file. Is this a new “feature” or is there a way to make it go back to how it was before? Also I’ve noticed it’s taking a lot quicker to provide responses which would normally be a good thing but I feel the time between the 7-10 minutes it took to get me a proper reply to the 2-3 minutes something bad is happening internally when it comes to the bots thought process idk though any tips or information you can provide me?
hola. I'm basically asking for advice on different ais that I could potentally switch over to in order to do my work. I typically write fan fic, but I am considering moving onto an original content story that I may eventually decide to publish. overall I have found claude to be extrodinarily useful as a writing tool. specifically, with its projects and project memory. with it I can connect my google docs for chapter summaries, world building and character sheets and whenever I need claude to reference something I tell it to look at something specific in these documents and it has relevant context. it is EXTRODINARILY useful in preventing drift and forgetfulness, and from someone who primarily used Venice for this purpose prior to claude it has made an extreme difference in terms of quality. regardless though I am looking for an AI writing assistant that has something LIKE project knowledge. something I can put my summary character, and world building systems into and it can read in real time to prevent drift. claude is great of course, I love 4.6, but claude 4.6 is scheduled to be dead by the end of the year at the earliest and I'm looking for alternatives early. maybe something cheaper too? 200/m is fucking expensive man lol
