I don’t feel bad for Slia, hear me out..

As a character I think she is very misfortunate, her neglectful father and she doesn’t have many real friends and Teoman can’t stand her, which is sad so I can sympathise with her to an extent.

HOWEVER I still don’t feel that bad for her because all of the characters are going through it right now, Aras doesn’t even have a family and is looking for his brother on his own while trying to fix everyone else’s problems , Teoman is battling with the guilt of setting the house on fire and hurting Leyla and the abuse from his parents.

But Slia is genuinely a bad person, she humiliates Deniz in front of the whole school because she’s poor and can’t afford to buy new clothes, she then steals all of her stuff, her phone, her clothes and her bag and stuffs it in the bin, trips her up during a fire drill where she could have been seriously hurt. But I’m supposed to feel sorry for her because her dad works abroad and doesn’t pay her any attention???

Does this mean Teoman and Slia have broken up ????

I really hope things are over between them so Teoden can actually make progress without her just standing in the way.

Hopefully she’s taken the hint and can start her own character development and so can Teoman because he needs to have a proper character arc aswell.

The audacity Sebnem has…..

I hate Sebnem so much, she is the worst character because not only does she abuse Teoman and manipulate him, she physically abuses him when he tries to figure out the truth and see the notebook his therapist kept of him and slaps him.

While Hakan is also a terrible character and abuses Teoman the most, locking him up pinning him to walls and dragging him out of rooms.

I hate them both but something about Sebnem is just like the emotional abuse almost hurts more because it feels personal and calculated whereas Hakans just a stupid powerful man that can’t regulate his emotions and so takes it out on Teoman.

Sebnem gaslights him into believing that Hakans behaviour is acceptable because “he just favours Leyla” or that “he’s just stressed these days” but that’s not an excuse, Hakan blames everything on Teoman and tries to make if his fault constantly.

She tries to put on this act that the Akkayas are on big, happy family when that is far from the truth and is really just ruining this image she built.

The new character is so annoying….

Even though I know Dogukan is meant to be there to make Aras jealous of him and Leyla he’s so annoying like this entire episode he just had this stupid smirk on his face that was so punchable, and the way he looks at leyla just creeps me out so much like it’s very uncomfortable for some reason.

I think Leyla will probably have feelings for him, for like a small period of time, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing because I think she needs to have some character development and stop chasing Aras when he wasn’t giving her that same attention, I think what she did was right and hopefully she finds out more about her family and stops escaping into her pink world when life gets hard.

I just really want Leyla to ignore Aras, I do think he’ll end up getting jealous.

Episode 11 thoughts..

I think this episode definitely wasn’t the worst we’ve had it wasn’t great but at least it wasn’t a filler this time. Lots of things happened like:

  1. Teoman finds out that he started the fire in their old house and that’s why he has fire tramua and so does Leyla, this makes me wonder why he started the fire, if it was a mistake or intentional. He steals the notebook from the therapist who threatens to stop the sessions and Sebnem pleads for her not to.
  2. Sebnem forced Nuray to have an abortion, this gave us lots of Deniz and Nuray scene mother to daughter and you really get to see what kind of relationship they have. It seems that Deniz is a mother to Nuray with Deniz carrying lots of responsibilities, taking Ali to school and clearing up the mess her mother made in a rage. She is forced to keep the family together while her dad worries about money.
  3. leyla and Sebnem got some scenes which I didn’t really enjoy but if contrasted heavily with Nuray and Deniz where leyla is spoiled and manipulated, kept in the dark about her family, Deniz is painfully aware of her family breaking apart, especially when her father finds out about the abortion.
  4. Sehrat is clearly still afraid of Hakan because of his condition he is too vulnerable to tell Aras the truth right away because he could have just said Teoman as the letters but he tells him to look for a medallion which we know Hakan has so while this clue isn’t the most helpful he can’t reveal the truth right now

because Hakan would know it was Sehrat that told Aras and get him killed, we have to remember that Sehrats only goal is to make things hard for Hakan and get his revenge.

New fragman

I think in this scene the fire alarm went off in their school and that’s why Teoman runs to find leyla because he already feels guilty for what happened in the past so he feels like he can’t leave leyla this time, and once their outside making sure he’s ok.

As for Deniz slapping him which really confused me she must believe he did something but he really didn’t, I’ve never seen him look at her like that but it might have just been because he was so stressed and it reminded him of Sebnem slapping him.

I’m sorry but the way Aras and Baris are just standing there made me burst out laughing 😭😭

What happened to Aras’s documents that he took from Hakan???

In one of the recent episodes Aras takes some papers from Hakans desks and stuffs them in his bag but while he is leaving he gets a call that the orphanage is going to be demolished and he puts the bag somewhere in the orphanage.

Later he can’t find it but In episode 10 the bag is found but there are no documents some people are saying it could be his friend Metin but of course it could just be Sebnem or Hakan but the possibility that it’s another character is much more interesting.

Leyla could have been written much better. long rant

I think Leyla’s character has a lot of potential and she already has some strengths but It seems like her relationships with other characters in the show are very shallow for her to be the main female lead.

For example her relationship with Teoman isn’t very deep this could just be because they intended for them to have a tricky relationship and not be as close but they are only ever in scenes together if leyla is stoping Teoman from fighting Aras, I think the only time we truly saw that they’ve grown apart was at the Fashion show party scene after leyla confronts him and Kutay about fighting Aras.

As for her relationship with Aras I think it’s very messy at the moment and there is a barrier between them because Aras won’t tell her the truth about Demir and that way he can’t explain his behaviour like when he breaks into the Akkayas house in Episode 10 she knows that he is looking for Sehart but can’t explain why, Leyla assumes he is using her for his own benefit.

Aras is reluctant to confess his feelings to her because he wants to keep her away from the chaos in his life and deep down he knows her family will never accept him and that will just create more conflict.

However, even though I think her character could be better she is misunderstood because everyone assumes she has a great life and a family to go home to but everyone pushes her away, her parents and Teoman, Sebnem only gives her affection when she does what she wants, manipulating her and hiding their abuse towards Teoman from her

She also has strengths in her personality, even though everyone else hides the truth from her she still tries to find out, preventing Aras from being sent away from Bodrum, she rescues Teoman from the warehouse with Aras.

However her role has become very small in the past couple of episodes which is really frustrating especially when sometimes all we get a generic conversation with Aras, Especially the last episode in the ending scene where she demands answers from Aras while he beats up two grown men and trying to get back Baris’s car.

I really hope next episode her character beings to change and she realises that her family is evil ( not including Teoman) and that she and Aras have a grown up conversation.

Deniz prediction

I think the first person to find out that Teoman is Demir will not be Aras or Teoman but Deniz because this would create so much conflict, she would be stuck between the two as she would have to pick between her friendship with Aras or her relationship with Teoman.

I think this is more likely than the two brothers finding out as it would be more suspenseful as Deniz would finally admit she knows the truth.

This would be way more interesting and fun to watch than Aras figuring it out as he would probably just leave Bordrum assuming Teoman is living a happy life.

And on the other hand if Teoman finds out he would not tell Aras out of fear of rejection and Aras previously told him that he would never accept him as a brother.

Since the actress has received so much attention from audiences and the big fan base TeoDen has I think she’ll be the one to reveal the truth.

Fingers crossed for Episode 11 and new character 🤞

After watching the Fragman for this episode and seeing the arrival of a new character, I'm beginning to think this could be a turning point for the show.
I think Dogukan could have a big impact on the story. These are the possibilities that stand out to me:

  1. He's there to confuse Aras and convince him that he is Demir, especially because of the letters (O, A, N) Sehrat gave Aras. I think this is the more likely option, as it would work perfectly for Hakan by pushing Aras away from suspecting that Teoman is actually his brother, Demir.
  2. He could be there to create drama between Aras and Leyla (assuming he really is her childhood friend—Im not sure that's been confirmed yet). If he's interested in Leyla, it could make Aras jealous and finally push him to confess his feelings?? However Aras isn’t the type to admit his feelings (he could snap tho) I think this is less likely though because they could easily use Kutay or another character for that role.
  3. I've also seen TeoDen fans pushing for Dogukan to become a one-sided love interest for Deniz. That would be really interesting aswell - jealous Teoman would be hilarious to watch. 😭😭and I think this would create a perfect moment for Teoman to admit his feelings to Deniz if he has competition it’ll force him to make his feelings more clear, he’s already bad at hiding how he feels about Deniz anyway😭😭. And this new character could also make him jealous by earning Hakan and Sebnems affection or approval which would make him dislike Dogukan even more.

Either way I’m hoping we get a decent episode this week because episode 10 was quite disappointing the only thing making it bareable was TeoDen.
