I have been on an SSRI since I was 20, so 25 years. My doctor has me starting Exxua today and I am terrified. I had a major depressive episode this year that almost landed me in the hospital. I’m so scared about my brain not having the SSRI impact after 25 years. Has anyone successfully switched to this from an SSRI and what has your experience been? Thanks so much 🙏🏽
I’ve been doing spravato for about two months now. At first it was going spectacularly. I felt a huge relief from my symptoms of MDD and CPTSD. Now I’m falling down the hole of depression again and it’s BAD. Like the nonfunctional, can’t stop crying, don’t want to do anything at all bad. I’m devastated that I’m backsliding this much. Is this normal to have days like this?? Does this mean it’s not working for me? Should I give up? I’m genuinely confused and really hurting. Any feedback much appreciated.
