Hi all,

Based in UK and have been leasing cars for quite a few years, enjoying frequent new cars and lots of flexibility.

I now want to be more sensible with my money and buy a car I can keep for a while and have settled on the XC40 as a strong candidate. T3 R Design trim.

I don’t have a massive amount of experience owning used cars but looking at roughly £20k price tag and 50-60k mileage, 2018/2019 plate.

My question is how long would you expect to get out of a car of that spec? I’d like to own it for at least 5 years with minimal maintenance costs.

Would you stretch for a newer model/lower milage?

Any thoughts appreciated
