Fridge backup options that work in apartments?

We lose power a few times a year and the landlord isn't going to do anything about it. I want something that keeps the fridge running automatically when the power drops, no generator, nothing loud.

I've been looking at Bluetti FridgePower but I'm not sure if it works in a rental. Has anyone set one up without drilling into walls?

Does anyone on NEM 2.0 have a battery

Us: 4.2kW system, anker solix e10 with two battery packs. Battery fills up by early afternoon, extra solar goes back to the grid. We have a Model Y and the bill last month was about $40 including service fees. NEM 2.0 export credits cover whatever still goes back to the grid. I keep hearing NEM 3.0 people basically have no choice since the export credits are so bad. On 2.0 I wasn't sure storage was worth it but the EV charging timing is what made it make sense for us. The backup during PSPS shutoffs is a bonus we didn't plan for. Anker is doing a flat rate install in the area right now too which made it easier to commit.

Germany has over a million balcony solar setups and we're still waiting on DESNZ

Fell down a Ytb rabbit hole last week looking at solar options for my flat. Kept seeing this thing called Balkonkraftwerk, basically panels on a balcony with a battery underneath. Over a million households in Germany running these now. The battery stores daytime solar so they use it in the evening instead of buying from the grid. People are reporting 30-40% drops in grid consumption.

The whole thing plugs into a regular socket. No electrician, no planning permission. Takes about an hour.

Meanwhile we're paying 26p/kWh, 30p+ on Go, and DESNZ has only got as far as a panels-only consultation. No battery, no plug-in storage. The hardware exists but the policy doesn't.
