Just hit Step 5: Rating following final C&P exam this morning
Ladies and Gentlemen of r/VAClaims , my time has finally arrived where I am now sitting on Step 5 after finally completing all my C&P exams.
My claim was initiated on May 3rd, 2026 with 9 total claims ranging from back/neck pain, tinnitus and to include mental health.
All my exams were conducted my Leidos QTC. They were honestly amazing when it comes to DBQ turnaround, with the longest time from C&P exam to DBQ submission to the VA being 3 days, all the others were filed same day.
I understand that reaching Step 5 is not quite the finale, but as long as everything goes smoothly I should be resting my case in the next day or 2 hopefully!
I was very shocked to see my claim move so quickly after my final exam this morning, it took less than 5 hours to have my 2 DBQ's from the exam uploaded into the VA Files page.
Just looking to share my experience for all my fellow Veterans with the same anxiety that I felt with this whole process.
