Refunded KCD2 Base Edition, to buy the Saga Bundle instead. Worth it?

Refunded KCD2 Base Edition, to buy the Saga Bundle instead. Worth it?

I originally bought the KCD2 base edition for ₹1,344 during the Steam sale, but after looking at the prices again, I ended up refunding it.

Instead, I decided to spend ₹1,855 on the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Saga Bundle. For about ₹500 more, I get KCD1 with all of its DLCs, KCD2, the Expansion Pass, and all the bonus content that’s included in the bundle. Since I haven’t played the first game yet, it felt like the complete experience was worth the extra money.

I know it means I’ll have to play through KCD1 before jumping into KCD2, but honestly I’m pretty excited about that.

Do you think I made the right decision, or would you have just stuck with the KCD2 base edition?

KCD2 at its All-Time Low Completely Changed My Steam Summer Sale Plans

I genuinely feel lucky that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II hit its all-time low this sale. If it had stayed at its usual discounted price of around ₹1.68k, I probably would’ve skipped it and bought Cyberpunk 2077 instead, along with a few other games.

But seeing KCD2 drop to just ₹1,344 completely changed my plans. I couldn’t pass up that deal, especially since it’s the game I wanted to experience the most. The realistic medieval setting, immersive RPG mechanics, and everything I’ve heard about it made it an instant purchase.

On top of that, I still managed to grab some amazing deals:

Assetto Corsa Competizione
Watch Dogs 2 (already own Watch Dogs 1, so I’m finally continuing the series)
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Looking at the cart now, I’m honestly happier with these picks than I would’ve been if I had gone with Cyberpunk. KCD2 feels like the highlight of the entire sale, and the other games are genres I’ve wanted to get into for a long time.

Anyone else end up completely changing their Steam Summer Sale plans because one game got a bigger discount than expected? I’d love to hear what unexpected purchases you all made this sale.

Thinking about picking up Mass Effect Legendary Edition during the Steam Summer Sale – worth it in 2026?

I’ve never played the Mass Effect games before, but I noticed the Legendary Edition is currently available for a ridiculously low price. From what I understand, it includes all three games and most of the DLC, which sounds like an insane amount of content.

I enjoy story-driven games with good characters, meaningful choices, and a world that keeps you invested for dozens of hours. I’ve seen people call Mass Effect one of the greatest RPG trilogies ever made, but I’m wondering if that reputation still holds up for someone completely new to the series today.

How well has the gameplay aged? Does the story still live up to the hype? And if you could only recommend one RPG to someone who has never experienced Mass Effect before, would this be it?

I’d love to hear from both longtime fans and people who played it for the first time recently. Is this one of those “must-play at least once” games, or is the nostalgia factor carrying it?

Thanks!

Cyberpunk 2077 hits a new all-time low

Just noticed that Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for ₹899 on Steam, which appears to be the lowest recorded Steam price in India so far.

SteamDB shows the game hitting a new historical low at this price point.

Considering how far the game has come since launch with Patch 2.0, Phantom Liberty, and the massive improvements to gameplay, AI, progression, and overall polish ₹899 feels like an absolute steal.

Finally decided which games i will be going for in the upcoming steam summer sale!!

After going back and forth for weeks, I’ve finally narrowed my wishlist down to just two games:

Both have been on my radar for a long time. Days Gone looks like the perfect open-world zombie survival experience, while Uncharted seems like one of the best cinematic action-adventure games available on PC.

Now I’m just hoping the Steam Summer Sale is generous enough to bring both of them down to around ₹1,000 or under ₹1,000 each. With my current wallet balance, that would make the decision a lot easier!

What do you guys think? Have either of these games gone below ₹1,000 in previous Steam sales, and which one would you pick first if you could only buy one?

Going for this!! First Assassin’s creed game in my library.

Waiting for Days Gone to go on sale!

At first, I wanted to buy Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but after looking into it more, I realized it feels more like an RPG than a traditional Assassin’s Creed game. So I can always get it later. My priority for the Summer Sale is Assassin’s Creed Unity first, then Days Gone. Unity makes sense because it’s often praised for having the best setting in the series, amazing parkour, and the classic Assassin experience that I’m looking for.
