I am hoping to find the title of a movie I watched several years ago. It was a high school murder comedy flick. I can visualize the lead actress' face/appearance but I can't remember the name of the movie for the life of me.

What I do remember, is the lead had long dark brown hair and part of the plot was she had a broken foot? Like in a boot, kind of thing.

Somebody was killed in the high school and it became a bit of a mystery. Something about the mascot costume?

I think it was mid 2010s but could have been later.

Anyone know what the title is? I'm sure I'll recognize it as soon as I see it.
