If we’re the City of Medicine, why am I always driving to Cary/Morrisville/Raleigh?

Sure, Durham has Duke Health, but very often when a family member needs a procedure or specialist, we have to go elsewhere. Multi-location practices often offer limited services and slots in their Durham facilities. Is it that Duke is the only game in town, and they limit availability to keep usage high? Or are we imagining this?

Best source for downloadable audio files of world languages?

Hello all. I’m doing a personal audio project that would use downloaded audio clips of various languages - the more obscure the better. I’d prefer high-quality recordings of not just phrases, but more lengthy segments. I’m aware of Wiki Commons…are there any other sources you can recommend?

As I said, it’s a personal project, so I won’t be needing to get clearance for use. Many thanks for any pointers!

Continuous Audio Connection turning on by itself?

Last night I noticed that all my sources were displaying as “multichannel in” so I checked the Continuous Audio Connection setting. It showed “Off” (as I expected) so I turned it on and off again. Now my sources display correctly. Anyone else seeing this feature turning itself on, or operating even though it’s turned off?
