Is it safe to use a bidet with grade 4 hemorrhoids?

I recently moved into a new place, and the toilet has a built-in bidet. I have grade 4 hemorrhoids, so I’m not sure whether I should be using it.

I’ve set the water pressure to the lowest level. I know this is a weird comparison, but the stream feels roughly as strong as my urine stream. The model is a horow t38p, in case anyone happens to know how strong its lowest setting is.

Sometimes when I use it, my hemorrhoid feels slightly swollen or congested. It’s not exactly painful, but I can definitely feel something happening. I can’t tell whether that’s harmless or whether the water is irritating it.

I assumed using water would be better than toilet paper because I often end up wiping until I bleed. Has anyone with severe or prolapsed hemorrhoids used a bidet? Should I stop using it, or is a gentle stream normally okay?
