So we migrated our panorama instance from VMware to hyper-v. I took a configuration snapshot before I started. We exported the sc3 certificates. Followed the instructions from Palo Alto. Pretty much to a kept the same IP address and host name. Got it all loaded back up and the log collector doesn't seem to be displaying on the monitor tab. So I went and I looked at the log collector and the log collector. At first it was saying that there it was ingesting logs. Then after I messed with it a little bit it stopped ingesting logs. I rebooted panorama after doing a bunch of stuff and it seems like it's ingesting again. But still nothing is showing up on the monitoring tab. Anyone else seen this.

Customizable App Settings

This documentation is pretty vague....

I've already tried multiple ways to set the configuration using MSI which has been erratic to say the least, and in most cases, it appears to not set anything. I'm using PDQ to push the client to the endpoints. I'd like to set do things like set the mode to on-deman, and preconfigure two gateways.

the documentation for doing these settings in the registry first off says to set Keys....which to me is incorrect or does every setting create a new key under the settings Key? and if so what's the contents of the key. I think they mean to set REG_SZ, or REG_DWORD entries within the settings key, but the documentation does not say which or what format. for example, if I want a yes or no answer am I setting a string that says NO or am I setting a Binary that reads 0.

I've only been able to come up with a few examples, and they are all pretty old so I thought I'd put it out here and see what people say.

That's it. the title. for the last few months, it's been getting steadily worse. Outlook is by far the worst in my opinion, but teams, and excel do the same types of things. Literally just clicked in the search bar, nothing, clicked again, nothing, clicked a third time, window minimized. I just want to search for *($&# sake. finally, cursor shows up and I can search. I'll ignore that it got lost again as I re-maximized the window. Then I start typing the response. oops. fat fingered something. click the word "left-click; because who knows why", nothing happens. try again, nothing, right-click select spell check and pick word. finish typing email. realize I misspelled a couple other words. repeat prior incident except every formatting error disappears for 30 seconds when I make a correction. (granted I know this last one is copilot trying to get me to hurt a wall). Like, I'm this close |<--->| to switching my whole org to open office.
