I get that in food deserts, it’s pretty often a Dollar General is the only place to get food and consumer goods. But in places with actual grocery stores? Why? Dollar General people make Wal Mart people look like Whole Foods people, and Dollar General isn’t even cheap. Why the brand loyalty to a company that overtly exploits the desperate?

I haven’t gotten a haircut since before transplant, and even though it’s thinning because of the cocktail of immunosuppressants and other meds, it still needs to be cut and maybe styled to hide the baldness. Do I need to ask my team if it’s safe to get a haircut? I wouldn’t want to do anything without asking my team, who knows everything except for when I’m going to stop balding from this wonderful mixture of meds.

How hard is it to comprehend someone having enough money and just not wanting to work? Why can’t that just be an acceptable response? You have to always be on that grindset to these ghouls? Obviously not talking about fine dining, but chains and syscoslop places that the average American goes to (not me). It should be illegal to serve a meal over 2000 calories while the piggy drinks bottomless cups of Mountain Dew. And invariably if you look at customer reviews of a restaurant, people will give a five star review because “the portions are huge”. Not the food is good, the atmosphere is fun, no, the fucking portions. And then people justify the huge portions by saying that it means you get leftovers, but who wants leftovers? Who wants tomorrow’s lunch to be yesterday’s dinner all slopped up from dinner and microwaved?

I get it, frozen food generally sucks, but room temperature McDonald’s is barely any better. Are they really so incompetent that they can’t put fish sticks or frozen pizza in an oven, microwave some frozen White Castle burgers, or microwave/bake a TV dinner? Or do they get some sick pleasure from overpaying an evil corporation to punish the untermensch who have to rely on DoorDash for income?

Hallmark holidays suck to begin with, but the point of Mother’s Day is for children to appreciate the one who brought them life. Not breast cancer awareness. Not potential mothers of the world. I personally think it’s stupid that you are supposed to forgive your shitty mother of all past deeds like cheating on your father your senior year of high school and breaking up your family, making it impossible to concentrate on classes and ruining your entire future just because she chose to not get an abortion, but that’s just me.
