I have tried to recreate the floaters that I see. Would you say is mild?

I had vitrectomies but a year ago these floaters started to come again. It has been driving me crazy these things and doctor recommend to not do anything and live with it.
I am sure others have it much worst than this.
Perhaps they are a little bit bigger than these but around that.
Should you say they are very mild?

People who have moved to Spain: what was the hardest part that nobody warned you about

I recently moved back to Spain after living in Scotland for around 14 years, and I’m now building a small relocation service in Malaga.

I’m not trying to sell anything through this post.
I’d genuinely like to understand where people struggled and what kind of support would actually have made a difference.

If you’ve relocated to Spain, I’d be interested to know:

1.What was the most difficult or stressful part?
2.What information was surprisingly hard to find?
3.Did you pay anyone to help you? Was it worth it?
4.What would you happily have paid someone to handle?
5.What would make you trust—or avoid—a relocation company?

I’m particularly interested in experiences involving long-term rentals, NIE applications, schools, healthcare, banking and settling in after arrival.

Honest and critical answers are very welcome. I’d rather learn what people genuinely need than build services based on assumptions.

I got a second opinion post vitrectomy with floaters

A few years ago, I underwent vitrectomy surgery in both eyes because of floaters. Both surgeries were successful.
However, about a year ago, some new floaters appeared, and they began driving me insane. I went to see a doctor, who told me that my brain would eventually adapt and that it would be better not to undergo a washout or another vitrectomy. But I didn’t adapt—they continued to bother me enormously.
I recently sought a second opinion from a highly regarded doctor. He said that my eyes looked healthy and that the floaters were actually difficult to detect during the examination. He advised me against having a washout because, in his opinion, the risks outweighed the potential benefits. He also explained that even if the surgery went well, I might be fine for a few months or years but could still develop more floaters later.
So, here I am. I think I will have to learn to live with them, try to accept the situation, and remind myself that things could always be worse. Most importantly, I need to stop this from taking over my life and robbing me of my joy—which can, of course, be very challenging.
I understand that another operation could involve risks such as glaucoma or other complications. My fear is that I could enter a never-ending cycle of surgeries to deal with problems caused by previous surgeries. I might then look back and realise that the small floaters I originally had were a lesser problem than the complications I developed while trying to eliminate them.
At least, that is how I feel now after speaking to the doctor yesterday. I’m just venting a little and sharing where my head is at.
That said, I do believe that for someone with severe, debilitating floaters, vitrectomy can be a reasonable option to consider with a qualified specialist. It worked very well for me initially. However, I also think it is important to understand that surgery may not guarantee a completely floater-free future (which is what I understood initially..), as smaller floaters could still appear later in life.

Did anyone had more than one vitreoctomy done in the same eye?

Hi,
I had vitreoctomies done in both eyes and all good, except that after vitreoctomy I could see like very small eye dots/sparkles moving very fast when I looked at the sky or Blank wall but I was not worried as it was not too bothering and better than having floaters.
However 8 months ago I started seeing small dots (I posted the story here: https://www.reddit.com/r/EyeFloaters/s/ampkY6AEWM

I am at a point of thinking of going through another vitreoctomy as they are distracting. Has any done more than one in the same eye? Concerned of the potential risks so wanted to get thoughts.

Thanks

Are you thinking of going to costa del sol?

I’ve moved from Scotland to Estepona 8 months ago. I can understand it can feel a bit overwhelming when making the move (visa, all the Spanish bureaucracy, etc), however loving it here now.
If you need a hand with NIE, understanding the process on what you need to do to move here, let me know if you have any questions as I am happy to help!
