I want to be an actuary but i am studying a course that has no exemptions with the IFoA, would it make sense to pay out of pocket for 1-2 exams and hope to pass so i can put it on my CV for placement years or would actuarial work experience be enough to stand out?

Id like to pursue a career as an actuary and am going to study Maths, stats and data science at bath after achieving an A* in maths, is there anything youd advise me to do now as i dont really have any experience at all linked to the field
