Plum Jelly

Hi, it's me again, the 1st timer that made blackberry jam the other day 🤗

I was gifted a large bag of frozen plums and decided to try my hand at plum jelly and I am IN LOVE with the color, especially with the light shining through the jars. As a bonus, it tastes amazing. I made these for end of the school year teacher gifts and I'm hoping they are well recieved!!

Viking vs Henckles?!

I'm well beyond due for an upgrade for my pots and pans and know that I want a stainless steel set (currently have Calphalon nonstick) which of these sets do you think is better and why? I want something that is good quality and durable, that will last. If it makes any difference, I cook on a gas stove.

I like the idea that these can go in the dishwasher since my current set cannot, but I'd be willing to continue to handwash if that will have any impact.

1st time!

1st timer here 😊

I made blackberry jam; it's delicious and so pretty! Hearing all of the little pops of the lids when they came out of the water was magical.

I have this monstrosity of a lilac bush/tree situation and don't know what to do with it. It needs to be trimmed back and I just don't know where to start. It has about 100 skinny little sprouting branches at the base and I'm not sure if i should clip them off. I did trim the back side to get it out of the porch area. I would love some suggestions before I make it worse!!!
