I think people might end up disappointed with Eywa in the future;

As the plot unfolds, we learn a bit more about Kiri and her conception, but the main question remains unanswered: why did Eywa create Kiri? What is her purpose?

And considering that Avatar 4 will be narrated by Kiri, perhaps we’ll finally unravel this. However, I also think there’s a real chance fans could be let down by Eywa.

It’s not uncommon for people to wonder why Eywa didn’t help the Mangkwan, why she seems to favor humans/avatars over the natives, or why she only intervenes when called upon. While these questions are valid in theory, I think we’re overlooking the main point:

Eywa isn't just a deity the na'vi believe in and connect with; she is the entire living planet. A planet can undergo natural disasters and face its own internal issues, but that is completely different from being constantly attacked and destroyed by an external force (humans/not natives)

In interviews, James Cameron has practically confirmed that Eywa can only "see" everything through her roots; if those roots are destroyed, how could she know what’s happening? That’s why she only "strikes back" when someone alerts her.

Finally, there’s the matter of religion. JC clearly draws inspiration from diverse, non-traditional religions for Eywa, yet he also weaves in subtle biblical elements throughout the film. My point is this: we shouldn't try to fit Eywa into our own religious frameworks; doing so will only lead to disappointment and more questions.

James Cameron never promised that Eywa would be omnipotent or anything of the sort, nor did he ever say there is a concept of heaven and hell for the na'vi—so we shouldn't be questioning her through those lenses. But I think sometimes people can miss that point and get carried away; I've actually seen some fans hating on Eywa with all their hearts after the Mangkwan were introduced.

I'm not saying we can't theorize or anything like that too, but sometimes we can create expectations based too much on our experiences and forget the true message or vision.

Snow Na'vi and possibly Desert Na'vi: predictions.

Well, I don't think everyone knows this, but there is a strong possibility that the next setting in this saga will be the colder regions and the desert. This speculation gained traction following the release of two a concept arts of AFAA.

The first showed a snowy mountainous region, possibly featuring two na'vi. The second image showed a desert area with sparse vegetation (plus the detail that the Tlalim likely originated there).

So, how do you picture the Snow and Desert Na'vi?

Regarding the arctic regions, it’s hard to speculate because it will depend heavily on which Indigenous peoples JC chooses to inspiration. Predictions range from very light shades of blue to actually quite dark tones, depending on the level of realism aimed for.

As for the Desert Na'vi, I admit that is completely uncharted territory for me.

Making it clear that concept art and ideas can change quickly, but to get the community involved, I think it's cool to speculate! Michelle Yeong's character was originally going to be from RDA, but recently her role changed to na'vi (with a very long and difficult name, sorry Paykkelut?) and many people think she might as a Tsahìk of the Snow na'vi!

Any predictions for deleted scenes?

I'm a little worried I might have chosen the wrong flair, but does anyone know when the deleted scenes will be released? I think when ATWOW came out it took about a year and a half for them to be released along with the exclusive DVD, but since the AFAA DVD has already been released I thought they would speed things up.

Considering the interviews that JC and some of the actors gave during the promotion of the film, I'm sure there are many scenes out there. Because they said so many things would happen and in the end nothing did, For example:

  1. The actor who plays Lo'ak was confused when he found out that a kiss between Tsireya and Lo'ak didn't make it into the final cut.

  1. Zoe's song "The Future and The Past" being cut, and the soundtrack creator confirming on twitter that there would be a funeral scene.

  1. That little behind-the-scenes glimpse of a conversation between Kiri and Jake, which wasn't even rendered.

  1. Zoe saying that Neytiri would find a perfect match in Varang, only for the two just interact in battles. (Making it clear that the term "match" was not used in a romantic context, it's about finding your other half, someone you can reflect. But in any case, that didn't happen between the two of them; they didn't have a dialogue to get to know each other).
