[Beginner] How to find a group to play ? (FR)
Hello !
2 weeks ago we did a team building event which was a padel discovery course, and we decided with some colleagues to play on Fridays at our workplace.
But I want to play more than just this, and registered at a club near my house which have a WhatsApp group with loads of subgroups (beginners, tournaments,…).
Problem : nobody answers. Literally NOBODY.
This Saturday we should have had a small beginner tournament with a coach which has been cancelled. I proposed to play anyway at the same time : 0 answer.
I posted that I was searching for people to play Monday evening : 0 answers. There are over 400 people in the group and more than half have read my message.
I don’t have any idea how to find a group, it seems like everyone already has his group and doesn’t care so no one talks ever. How am I supposed to play ?
How did you do when you began playing ?
Edit : the club near me uses Playtomic but i think only intermediate or good players create private matches with their groups and that’s it.
After the event from Saturday was cancelled I created an open match at the time as the event that 8 people opted in : nobody accepted it and joined…
