L.I.E. (2001)
I've only seen this movie when it was released and played at a queer movie festival, so about 25 years ago, yet it left a powerful memory, as a very controversial movie that dared to touch on a very delicate topic.
And looking it up to get the IMDB link, I was flabbergasted to see that it featured Paul Dano and Brian Cox as the two leads!
Dano plays a 15 y.o. whose mom just died on the Long Island Expressway and who hates his deadbeat dad and his new gf, so he's rebelling and hanging out with another teen who is doing all sorts of crimes, as well as doing sex work with much older clients, one of which being played by Cox.
It's a lot more complex than just a movie about minors doing sex work, because Cox is kinda playing a father role with the teen, and it's not clear if it's the classic grooming situation, or if he really wants to help him, since he pushes him away sexually.
