What are some good hikes to do in winter conditions to get snow hiking experience?

I'm still a fairly inexperienced hiker, but I really got into it a lot this summer. I have levelled up a little. I want to keep getting better and more condiment in different conditions, and I want to use this winter to keep stepping up with hiking in the snow. So it has to be challenging but not dangerous. I have crampons already but will be reviewing and purchasing everything that goes with winter hiking.

Any recommendations of where I should start, and what hikes I should aspire to by the end of the winter?

Just Bought A Kayak: Any Hike Access This Might Open Up For Me?

I'm new into hiking this summer but I've been out every weekend since April. I just bought a kayak to expand my outdoor activities.

Are there any local hikes that would be primarily accessible by kayak? I'm thinking Widgeon Falls as one though Pitt Lake. Any others?

People Who Hike Alone: How Many Times Have You Run Into A Bear & What Did You Do?

I've dove heavily into hiking this year. I'm doing well trafficked, moderate, hikes right now but I mostly do them alone. I'm taking time to gain some experience. But I'm still worried about bear encounters.

I'm just curious for those out there who also hike alone, how has your experience been with bears?
