I'm from Finland. My native language is Finnish but I'm fluent in English (I'm basically self-made bilingual atp because my thoughts are in English most of the time, despite my family members being really not that good in English). I speak the Tavastian dialect of Finnish, but I also speak a LOT of Finglish (thanks bilingualism).

I'm not one of those "HELL YEAH MY HOME COUNTRY" kind of people but I've become just a bit more proud to be Finnish as I've befriended people abroad especially the USA, which kind of is a hot mess if we're being completely honest. (still hate the government here as well I'm glad I get to vote in the next elections). All power to y'all americans you can survive this

I'm super excited cuz my American friend is actually coming to visit me in late August-September. She was supposed to be here WAY EARLIER but that snowstorm hit Texas where she was supposed to switch planes so no can do 💔 We've soon known each other for a year and I can't wait to feed her all kinds of Finnish foods!!

I really wanna see other non-americans, especially other Europeans, on this sub. Post stats always show USA and Canada, but I've seen some non-americans here too!

Finished rewatching season 1 and I WOULD have started on season 2 but I got strain injury cuz I walked around a con after bedrotting w/ gf for 4 days so my legs hurt too much to sit..

Also it's late and I'm getting tired, need to catch up on sleep debt and be ready for art fight grind tomorrow (multitasker never draws without a show/youtube in the background, we grind AND we bingewatch)

My friend got me into OCSN last year and I used to post some random posts basically about my life but just roleplaying as Yuzuki Yukari, because there was no active Yukari account on the Vocaloid side of the app at that time.
Now after five billion years I actually opened it up again and it just reminded me that I'm basically just impersonating another Vocaloid on there, now that I've figured I'm fictkin and ID kin of SF-A2 Miki. Yukari is still in my f'links tho but I never shift into her (that's why it's a link).
I'm just a teeny tiny bit sad cuz I'm shifted to Miki and I'm slightly fixated over this friend, who got me into OCSN, again but there already is an active (or active 1month ago which is still too soon) Miki account on there :< I'd really wanna get active there again..

(BTW I feel like OCSN would be a great place for fictkins haha)

This was mostly for my personal use as someone who is semi-new to fictionkinnity so I'm kinda forming a lotta kinsiders from a little bit of everything it feels like

As I stated in my intro post that has now most likely been lost in the deep dark depths on this subreddit /silly I am a theistic satanist and a demonolator. I worship and follow demons. I worship Lucifer and Stolas.

Seeing kins of their helluvaverse (and other, rarer) counterparts makes me always want to reach out to them or at least say a little prayer, do a small offering.
I know these characters are far from the deities themselves, and that they should be seperated with a tall wall, but it makes sense that a character based on a deity would remind you of said deity, no? These characters and their respective kins will always remind me of these deities the same way owls and angels remind me of Stolas and Lucifer. And thanks to that, I love seeing these kins, it's a little bit like seeing a loved one that makes you feel all nice and comfy, if that makes any sense. They remind me of one of the most important part of my identity, which is my religion and the deities I trust in.

I love y'all helluvakins, been meaning to watch the new season but I don't have Prime and my go-to site doesn't have western animation in it's catalogue. This series is such a quilty fave for me.

Finally found a good template (for kins, main profile layout is all me), modified it a bit AND applied it on all my kin/synpath/therian profiles sighh. Also from now on I'm implementing an emojibased kinshift system which many people use, sometimes I might add the name in the signoff as well

Hii I'm new on this sub (I will make an intro post as soon as I can), I'm rn hyperfixating on fictionkin-ity (?) and wanted to share my thoughts and experiences in dating as a fictkin ^^

Just background info, I AM dating someone plural and I am its collective partner. Many of its headoomfs are fictives and fictkins/otherkins (if not all I can't remember). So I am in a very understanding setting when it comes to being a fictkin in the dating scene.
Secondly, I haven't had the terms/kins figured for that long, so during previous relationships I've only had the "this is me but not LITERALLY" kins (I mean I still have some of those on my kinlist or in my linklist so there was SOMETHING I just didn't know it properly). PLEASE if you're dating someone who isn't a fictionkin I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts!!

Something I find interesting in dating as a fictkin, is that my gf and I barely share any sources.. One shared source is Pokemon, with me being Vaporeon and Hex Maniac, and it being Sylveon (and one headoomf being Valerie). So naturally, we don't have much shipart with just us both in them. Sucks a bit but we've been able to find ships we relate to even if the other partner in them isn't me or it (or ships like Abstragedy from TADC, which neither of us kin with, but in which we both have our respective relatability).

But the fun part in dating someone who is fictionkin/fictive when you're too? The cursed ships!! The new, never heard ships!! The weird crossover ships!! (see the beautiful image I provided of our IDs/Fictive). I get it, I'm Nepeta ofc I'm obsessed with the shipping aspect what can I say, but it's sometimes so fun to see.
I mentioned pokemon, right? Yeah, me being one of the Hex Maniac class trainers and one of my partners' headoomfs being a Valerie fictive. That is NOT a ship that exists in the slightest. But it works. And I will forever and always ship it. (Hex Maniac trainers do appear in Kalos so it could work, I'm still unsure which region I am actually from tho..). Or the image provided, with our IDs. I know people create cursed crossover ships for fun but I am yet to see Nepeta Leijon from Homestuck banging Mutsumi Wakaba from Bandori. But now it's real! And it's happening!

But it can also be a bit weird sometimes when you do share sources...
See, another source we share is Dandy's World. It's on a smaller scale for both of us, but it's there. I am kinsidering Goob, who is my highest link right now. And my gf... is Scraps. Now if you don't know anything about DW, these characters are siblings in canon.
I don't have memories of pretty much any of my kins (ADHD bad memory got my ass), so I am HOPING we both come from canons where we're NOT actually siblings. Either way, you bet that's a source we don't often share pictures, saying "us".

But I love my Mutsu, my Rika, my Angel and I am so glad I'm meowtsprits with such a wonderful being in this life!
