Normally I like chewable electrolyte tablets because then my water bottle/bladder doesn't get gross from powders, but flavored powders definitely get me to drink more. But where are we storing those water bottles/bladders at night if they've had scented/flavored water in them? Neither fits in my bear canister.
UL Mattress:
25x72”, rectangular, 1lb 8oz. Used two nights on a single trip over top of a closed fell foam pad. R value of 4.8. Stuff sack doubles as an inflation sack. Nothing wrong with it, no holes/leaks. It just wasn’t the mattress for me and I can’t return it because it is used. This product is listed as out of stock on the Zenbivy site until February 2027.
Regular pillow bladder + soft top case:
Bladder is 14x9.5x4” max. 1.4oz. Case is 14x9.5x6.5” and 0.9oz. Also only used two nights on a single trip. I only got these because it was cheaper to buy the full sleep system than exclude the pillow portion. I already have a pillow I like.

Just hit Joshua Tree, Saguaro, Petrified Forest, Mesa Verde, Capitol Reef, Bryce, Zion, and Great Basin NPs. Also saw Natural Bridges, Glen Canyon and Grand Staircase Escalante. Burr Trail and Lower Calf Falls probably had my favorite views of the trip.
