Google Gemini censoring 48 Laws?
Try this... go to Gemini (or any, curious to know about others) and type in: "list the 48 laws of power" and for me it starts generating a bullet point list of the chapter titles, gets to about law 20odd and then the whole of what had been written disappears and is replaced with some bs message saying it can't do that or it doesn't have access to the information, when in fact it does and it can. Something is clearly kicking in and telling it this is against the rules and to stop sharing this information.
That's what happens for me. Curious to know if it's the same for everyone? I tried a couple of simple jailbreaks but didn't manage to trick it into giving me the list. I know the book is banned in prisons, but censored by AI as well? That seems rather silly when youtube shares videos about it but gemini can't.
Edit: tried ChatGPT and it had no problem. Also some moron who shouldn't have opened his mouth and has since deleted his inappropriate comments and left, downvoted every comment I made before deleted his comments and leaving. Just be aware they weren't all downvoted because they comments were incorrect, they were downvoted out of spite by the type of person law 10 teaches you to avoid!
UPDATE: turns out gemini was just glitching out over providing all 48 laws in one reply. asking for them in smaller batches works. ChatGPT however can output all 48 in one reply, so perhaps they'll get gemini working better soon. Thanks to all those who tried it and helped figure out what was going on, in spite of that drive by idiot downvoting us all before crawling back under his rock.
