Looking for real suppliers/exporters — Banarasi, South Silk (Kanchipuram) & Surat sarees (starting import business)

I’m in the early stage of starting a saree import business in Canada focused on mid-to-premium range (Banarasi, South silk/Kanchipuram, and Surat sarees).
Before scaling anything, I’m trying to solve the hardest part first — finding reliable suppliers/exporters in India who can maintain consistent quality from sample → bulk orders.
I’m specifically looking for:
* Banarasi silk / Banarasi-style saree exporters (Varanasi belt)
* South silk / Kanchipuram silk suppliers (Chennai / Kanchipuram cluster)
* Surat manufacturers/exporters (embroidered, georgette, designer sarees)
What I care about most:
* consistency between sample and bulk
* honest classification (no fake “handloom” claims)
* ability to handle small test orders first
* export-ready documentation (IEC/GST/invoices/shipping experience)
* long-term scalability if things work
What I’m trying to avoid:
* WhatsApp-only sellers with no traceable business
* quality variation after first order
* rebranded mass-market stock sold as premium
* suppliers who don’t allow video calls or verification
If anyone here has:
* worked directly with exporters in these categories
* built a saree retail/import business
* or has reliable supplier contacts (even clusters/regions are fine)
