DİSTROKİD YOUTUBE ROYALTY
Anyone here NOT using DistroKid and already received their YouTube royalties?
I’m trying to figure out if this delay is happening across other distributors too, or if DistroKid is the main problem.
A few questions:
If you use another distributor, which one do you use, and have you already received your July and August YouTube earnings?
Do you guys realistically think DistroKid will finally update/pay the YouTube earnings around October 24–25?
Do you think July + August + September will be paid together, or will they keep coming separately?
At this point, I genuinely need this money. I’m almost out of money and I know I’m not the only artist in this situation.
I’m still making music and trying to stay focused, but my bills, debts and basic living expenses depend on these royalties. Music is something I love, but it’s also my income.
What’s making this even worse is that we’re getting almost no clear information. We’ve been waiting for months, trying to guess what’s happening every time there’s an update.
I really wish this situation had never happened.
If you’ve received your YouTube royalties through another distributor, please comment which distributor you use and which months you’ve been paid for. I think it would help a lot of us understand whether this is a DistroKid-specific issue or an industry-wide delay.
