Kia ora all, just wondering if this is fair or if I'm over thinking it.

I had a zoom chat with a lawyer and explained what service I needed from them. They went away with all the info and quoted me $1750 - 3000 for the job. I agreed. Work was completed and I accepted it straight away with no changes needed. Just received my final bill and it was over $3100. With no explanation as to why it was over the quoted price.

Would it be worth asking questions or just pay it? Its not a massive deal but would make me hesitate to go with them again (even though the work was great and timely)

If it matters, it was to draw up a contract agreement of sorts.
