Giving up living in Germany

After living more than 8 years in Germany, I am very close to giving up living here.

I have studied and then worked for 5 years in Germany by now, 5 of it in Munich. As most others I have been stuck waiting my permanent residency, at the same time citizenship.

While I wait for permanent residency (19 months and counting) I had to find a new job, my old job wasn’t bearable anymore. I have mentioned this while I got my 4th Fiktionsbescheinigung and I ve been told that since I worked more than 3 years at the same company, don’t need to do any new process, just let my case worker know.

Which I did and got no response ofc, then navigating through Reddit and FB I realized I indeed need to change the text on my Fiktion. A very important detail the lady in Kvr forgot or ignored to mention, while holding and preparing said Fiktion btw.

So many back and forth, everyone on phone giving different information, nobody helping, let alone taking responsibility, I was not able to start my job. So I am officially unemployed. I complained to every possible place, called them everyday, nothing. Talking to a lawyer too but so far also nothing.

I can’t believe them taking forever to do their jobs, and me naively thinking asking them what to do and trusting their answers (since you know, kinda their job) costing me my job at the moment. Of course for an unknown time, when they would please to give me an update. And by then who knows if the company will still be waiting for me.

Honestly, kind of tried everything. I don’t know if there is more I can do. Maybe you ll suggest sth, but probably I have done that too. It is mentally so exhausting, can’t believe I have to fight for living here at every step.

I am slowly giving up living here, one of these mornings I might wake up and think fuck all I am returning where I came from. As I am unable to sleep, eat or think straight last days due to stress, had to rant somewhere, sorry for long post.

Sincerely hope none of you have to experience a similar situation. Thank you.
