Chord Progression Question
I'll preface this by saying I have no musical theory knowledge, so I apologise if I phrase anything wrong.
I've picked up the guitar on and off for the last couple of months, mainly using chord charts to play songs I like.
Today I decided to make something up, and landed on the below. It sounds nice to my untrained ear, but looking to know if it makes 'sense' in music theory please!
| Bar(?) | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | C | |||
| 2 | Csus2 | |||
| 3 | Am | |||
| 4 | Am | |||
| 5 | Dm | |||
| 6 | G | G7 | ||
| 7 | C | |||
| 8 | C |
Is it also 4/4 in terms of time signature, regardless of how often I strum in each bar? I'm counting a 'bar' as 4 evenly spaced foot taps.
Thank you!
