Hi!

Having finished the game on Normal mode, I’d like to have a go at Brutal mode. The problem is, I’m one of those players who, whilst not exactly rubbish, aren’t exactly top-tier either. Normal mode is too easy three-quarters of the time, but ‘Brutal’ might… well, live up to its name.

Is it possible to tweak the ‘Normal’ mode settings to get the Brutal boss mechanics, for example, so I can check if it’s doable before starting a new game and then realising, once I’ve got past Act III, that I can’t get any further?

I recently stumbled upon this game. I completely missed out on the first Subnautica (don’t ask me how—I don’t even know myself).

Anyway, since I’m really into Subnautica 2, I was wondering if giving the first one a try would be a good idea. Graphically, is it any good? Are the survival mechanics as enjoyable as in Subnautica 2? I love the fact that in Subnautica 2, you can craft items by simply grabbing them directly from the storage cabinets—it sounds simple, but I’m sick of survival games where you have to sort through stuff endlessly. Is the immersion just as good and nerve-wracking?
