Requesting an apology to nvim-treesitter maintainer

As pretty much everyone in the neovim community is aware, nvim-treesitter was archived over a month ago:

It's unclear what the future is, although there has been some discussion about it being pulled into nvim.

In the meantime, has anyone bothered approaching the original maintainer and apologizing for the behavior of the clown that made those ridiculous comments and asking him to transition maintenance to someone else or to reopen it? A little humility goes a long way.

Rural Advice

My mother lives alone in rural Kansas - small town, like 700 people, and she lives on a large property on the outskirts of the town, with a couple of barns and a main residence. She wants property monitoring so she can see if anyone is coming on the property during the day or night when she's not there. She has no technical sophistication.

My thought was to hook her up with a professional solution that can install and setup cameras that can be monitored during the day or night, but I don't know what I'm looking for. I'd appreciate some advice before she goes and buys something she saw at Costco thinking she can use it and then letting it rot in her barn when no one can make it work (advertising security systems at Costco to ignorant people should be a crime).
