Creating a frog hotel to save frog eggs from algae pool

I have come across some happy frogs and eggs in a neglected pool that I want to transfer to a nearby frog hotel which I need to create.... before the pool guy comes next week to refurbish and clean the pool, dumping a stack of chemicals in the water.

Any advice to give the eggs the best type of chance of survival?

I don't want to go too big (would love to transport it to a different backyard eventually!) so am thinking a pot similar size to this Bunnings How To Build a Frog Hotel.

Will this survive the Sydney Summer heat if it's placed against the pool fence and gets sun most of the day?

How many established plants would I need to buy to put in there so that it stays healthy and the water gets filtered?

My partner is a Pokemon fan and has a stack of box sets squirreled away, as well as individual cards (both raw and graded) that he trades and sell. They are mainly interested in Japanese Pokemon cards, and occasionally buys packs from vending machines to rip open for fun with me.

I have no interest in them and don't know what's-what...except I know that generally buying a sealed box is better, as you're likely to never come across a god pack when buying the packs individually (like when you buy them from a vending machine).

What is a good Japanese Pokemon box set that I could get from Amazon or a shop in Sydney, that would be fun for them to rip open and look at, rather than sitting on the shelf?
