Can I pretend I’m early career to get an entry level position in my field?

Bc it feels like no one will give me a chance. I’d be great even at entry level, and could support the work even better than anyone they would hire.

And eventually it leads to more. But as soon as they see my experience I’m kicked out of consideration.

I’m 2 years into applying and don’t know what else to do.

How do you like TickTick?

Claude is recommending it. I have like 4 very different professional/life roles. I need something where I can keep tasks and mark out time blocks for each. But mostly projects and tasks. Would ticktick be good?

UPDATE: I also just had Notion recommended to me, TickTick can bring in stuff from Notion - so then why would I need both? Or which one would I be entering a typical thing to do in?

Bc I was really struggling this past week. It’s been 2 years of applications and rejections, I went into grad school this past Jan assuming that would tip the scales (while I used my new credentials and contacts to apply for 15+ positions) and it has not. now the program is over and I’m facing the void again.

Has anyone put themselves on upwork and are you getting work through it?

I had started to at one point and/but it also looks like it could be very competitive, esp to first establish a job history/recommendations on there.

Is it worth the time investment to try ? (Probably, right?)

Any specific tips or experiences would be welcome. I would be doing business support, strategy development and consulting, grant writing stuff like that
