I have my grandma's engagement ring that I am considering using for my engagement ring.

I am a simple girl so I am absolutely ok with a single diamond and maybe get a pretty wedding band with it. Or maybe I could reset it in a fancier band. Would you maybe get this reset in some way? I feel like the diamond sits higher than I would maybe want. Or the setting just seems clunky? Any suggestions? I dont know anything about this kind of stuff :)
