Progress on Top Fifty Favorite Games Collection!

Progress on Top Fifty Favorite Games Collection!

As mentioned in my previous post, I'm working on putting together a collection of authentic physical copies of my fifty favorite games. As of now, I have roughly 44 of them, with some technicalities (Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 represents Mega Man 10, The Orange Box represents Portal, etc). Here's what I have so far!

All I have left is Half-Life 2, Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Mega Man 2, Super Mario RPG, and Castle Crashers!

Pickups from my Yearly Convention!

I just wrapped up my yearly local convention and wanted to share my finds! I only buy/collect games I have a vested interest in owning or playing! Most of these were to work towards a goal of having authentic physical copies of my 50 favorite games. Super Paper Mario and Punch Out were just because I want to play them lol

Faved Sponsorship Email Question

Hey all! I currently run a channel with roughly 7.34k subs that's been on a bit of a rise recently (I was at about 6.8k this time last month), and I've just received this sponsorship email:

"Hi (channel name),

We're looking for engaging creators like yourself and would love to sponsor some of your upcoming videos on your channel for $500 USD, if you'd be open to it?

At Faved we work with over 10,000 creators and 300+ brands globally like Manscaped, Airalo, Liquid I.V and many more. We make sponsorships simple for creators like you. No fees, no sign-ups, only collaboration opportunities.

Would love to hear your rates! 🚀"

Now, I'm typically VERY skeptical and cautious when it comes to approaching potential sponsorships. I have another channel with 37k subs, so I've seen quite a few scam offers in my day. However, this one is giving me quite a bit of pause, for a few reasons, so I wanted to come to Reddit to ask for y'all's advice and experiences.

  1. Other Reddit posts I've investigated have said that Faved is a legitimate agency and have expressed positive experiences working with them

  2. The email has a legitimate Linkedin profile attached that's name and information match the information attached to the email

  3. The domain attached to this email (team@faved.com) is, as far as I can tell, Faved's legitimate domain. It's not misspelled or manipulated, like "Favedd" or anything.

  4. They haven't attached any links or "signs ups" to the email, and haven't requested any information or credentials of me as of yet.

This all seems *potentially* promising, but their offer is quite large for the size of my channel ($500 for a 7.34k subs channel seems too good to be true), so I wanted to come here and ask if any of y'all have had any similar experiences with this agency or these types of emails. I conducted my own research before this, found some Reddit threads about similar emails and stuff, but I still wanted to come here and ask. Just let me know! Thanks all.
