I recently left my job but am still close with my old colleagues. I get regular up dates on the shenanigans from a couple people. One person I used to work with always has a hot take that he will argue to DEATH. Long past the point people care any more. He has such unearned confidence for a 25 year old.
Recently his take was that the RHCP are “a C tier band.” This led to a heated Gen X/Millenial vs Gen Z music argument.
I was not there for the fight and he has no reason to think I’d know about it. He’s coming over for a BBQ on Saturday and I’d like to make an Apple Music playlist of as many Red Hot Chili Peppers covers as I can and see how long it takes him to notice.
