Each is a genuine New 2DS XL motherboard converted into a single screen console with USB C charging and has been setup with specialized versions of homebrew emulators made for single screen operation. Enjoy many different types of software on the device. Supports Twilight Menu++, PicoDrive, SNES9x, VirtuaNES, TemperPCE, Gameyob, mGBA.

No roms or games are included! Images showing game play are for demonstration purposes only.

WiFi is supported and allows wireless multiplayer in some games.

A wrist strap has been custom-installed. Each console includes the SD card, strap and stylus

USB C charging with power delivery support - most chargers should work.

Each console is a custom work-of-art and made of third party replacement parts with an original new 2DSXL motherboard. The motherboards were meticulously repaired from non-working state to full function and then modified for single screen operation. Replacement parts were used to create the consoles including:

The trigger buttons are stiffer than usual, they're made with custom springs. There is no C stick included. The speakers can distort at higher volume or with certain sounds. There is no front or rear camera. There is no cartridge slot cover.

There was a considerable amount of research and work done to create these unique consoles. I was determined to create a 2DS XL 'macro'. I repaired damaged motherboards to have a chance at it and was successful. Then worked backwards to source the other parts and built each system. I have performed extensive play testing and it works as it should. Sometimes there are software glitches but it's stable in general.

Refurbished GameGear has been recapped and repaired from an original non-functioning console to a modernized retro handheld.

The Screen has been replaced with a Retro 6 Clean Screen IPS LCD. It's a bright crisp IPS LCD screen. The brightness wheel controls the brightness like original. Capacitors replaced with Retro Six SMD ceramic caps.

The start and power buttons have been replaced with green buttons. The power LED has been replaced and is brighter than the original so I narrowed the opening to make the light comfortable to look at.

It has an original screen lens that I polished to removed severe scratches. It's restored to a clear state but the polish wore the surface down enough to discolor the edges (see pictures).

A lanyard wrist strap is included (not original Sega).

Overall it's a refurbished, restored and improved console from the original. The IPS LCD takes less power than the original screen and looks great. With mostly OEM parts and a touch of color this console is a unique blend of old and new.

The touchscreen has moderate scratches but they aren't very noticeable in gameplay. They are visible when the console is off. The lower screen appears a slightly warmer color temperature than the top screen but it's barely noticeable. The print on the bottom of the shell is slightly crooked (normal for this shell). The USB/charge port is slightly crooked. Pictures show condition.

A fully refurbished and modded and customized new 2DS XL console with USB C charging, 4GB SD card, a wrist strap and Luma3DS custom firmware.

The shell is OEM and has some wear and scratching but is in overall acceptable condition. There is over all general cosmetic wear on the shell exterior (pictured), The bottom exterior shell has a 'scuffed and scratched' appearance but overall is acceptable. The inner shell is in good condition.

The console has been fully restored and functions normally in all aspects. The top lcd screen and screen lens have been replaced. There is some slight bit of adhesive residue under the screen lens on the top screen (pictured). It does not affect gameplay but must be noted.

A custom USB C charge port has been installed as well as a wrist strap. The USB C port is compliant with both USB A to C and USB C to C cables. Meaning the device can be charged with most modern USB chargers for phones and tablets (it supports power delivery chargers).

It has been cleaned inside and out and tested and verified to work in all aspects. The internals and LCDs are in excellent condition. All buttons, sleep switch, touch screen, wifi, cartridge slot, volume slider, cameras, microphone, sd card slot, etc. all function normally.

It's a an awesome custom console. The exterior wear is normal and poses no problem to the function and gives visibility to the devices history.

A 4GB SD card, stylus and wrist strap is included.

The SD card contains all of the necessary files as well as SYSNAND backup and other important backup files. The buyer is encouraged to make a backup copy of the SD card. A larger SD card can be used but the files must be copied from the existing SD to the new.

The console has been fully restored and functions normally in all aspects. The top lcd screen and screen lens have been replaced. A matte screen protector is installed on the top screen and clean protector on touch screen. A custom USB C charge port has been installed as well as a wrist strap.

The USB C port is compliant with both USB A to C and USB C to C cables. Meaning the device can be charged with most modern USB chargers for phones and tablets (it support power delivery chargers).

Repaired and refurbished. The power button has been restored by application of a new conductive layer. A new glass screen lens has been installed. It includes the console with OEM battery cover, original box and documents and a black wrist strap.

Pictures show condition and demonstrate function. No games are included and only shown for demonstration purposes.

The unit is very clean overall but does have some signs of wear and use. There are light scratches on the shell but overall it is in good condition. The internal PCB is also clean and free of corrosion except for the speaker/horn module has some corrosion (shown in gallery).
