Lian Li HydroShift II OLED Curved TL FLEX fans stuck at ~1070 RPM, then disappeared after unbinding in L-Connect
Looking for some advice with my Lian Li HydroShift II OLED Curved 360TL and L-Connect 3.
When I first installed the AIO everything worked perfectly. The 3x TL FLEX radiator fans appeared in L-Connect as TL FX1, and fan control worked properly. For example, on Quiet mode at around 49°C they would run at roughly 480 RPM, and changing the fan profile/curve would actually change the fan speed.
Recently I noticed TL FX1 was sitting at around 1070 RPM constantly. Changing between Quiet, StdSP, HighSP or FullSP made no difference — even FullSP would still show around 1070 RPM and the fans physically wouldn’t ramp up.
Nothing has been changed with the wiring since the original installation. The fans still spin normally and the pump/AIO itself is working perfectly.
While troubleshooting, I went into L-Wireless Sync Setup and unbound TL FX1. Unfortunately, since doing that, TL FX1 will no longer appear at all. Wireless Sync now shows 0/10 devices, even with Lock Bound Devices OFF and scanning enabled.
Things I’ve already tried:
• Restarted L-Connect/service and waited several minutes
• Unplugged/reconnected the L-Wireless USB dongle directly to a rear motherboard USB port
• L-Connect 3 is up to date (v2.1.28)
• L-Wireless SYNC firmware is v1.6/latest
• HydroShift II OLED Curved controller/screen firmware is latest
• Wiring/receiver hasn’t been changed since it was originally working
I’m thinking this is an L-Connect/L-Wireless pairing/software state issue, especially since TL FX1 was detected immediately before I unbound it.
Has anyone with TL FLEX / HydroShift II OLED Curved had a wireless fan group disappear after unbinding it? How did you force L-Connect to rediscover/rebind the TL FLEX receiver?
I’m considering doing a completely clean uninstall/reinstall of L-Connect 3 next, but wanted to check if there’s a known reset/re-pair procedure first.
Thanks
