Just had this dropped off last night for not much coin.

The heads and jugs off and all corroded up.
Rods move bur crank didn’t spin by hand.

Any suggestions for wtf to start with regarding the engine. I have never had a bike engine come to me left apart in a barn for decades before.

Hadn’t even inspected to determine what year it is yet.
Will do tonight.

I thought it was a 900, but think there’s a 71 on one of the heads. .

I am thinking of soaking it in a tub of something for a while to start dealing with corrosion etc before dissassembling. Maybe even set up an electrolosis tank. Bur cant remember id that damages aluminum when next to the steel. Think so.
