Just passed!

Just wanted to pop in here to share the news since I was asking a lot questions, and getting a lot of great answers (looking at you Luke)
Easily the hardest of the Sie/7/63, and like others have said the bell curve is crazy on this one. I remember getting asked about included about 5 math questions, mostly basic bond math, EPS and P/E were very precedent too. I had 2 questions on futures and one on gold, about 3 on options, of course lots of questions of regs, several on BDs the majority on IAs. Tons of recognition questions related to suitability.
I actually pushed my test date back for this one, as I didn’t feel totally confident, and I’m glad I did.
Thanks again to all the people who helped out on this one, couldn’t have done it without you all.

Mid 20s, 2 YOE low margin “high volume” sales 1 bp(0.01% of net) - advice needed

Sort of the title, apologies for the wall of text I tried to keep it brief!

very long story short towards the end of 2023 I graduated with a degree from an online school while working full time (I’m was a self admitted brokie)

I eventually landed a job at brokerage firm as a client associate(front desk guy to a wealth management firm, who sometimes places trades) Did that for a year, and have been an internal wholesaler selling a very unique product, physical precious metals to wealth management teams.

Now, this is a huge turn around for me, making nearly 80 grand, got a nice 2 bedroom, got sober, family’s VERY proud…. And so am I but I feel like I’m getting screwed and i could do MUCH more.
True story of my sales in this super low margin sale environment: The largest sale Ive ever done was 10 million USD, and my take home from that after taxes was well under a grand, meanwhile my outside guy makes literally 6x what I do on that for a reason I don’t seem to understand!

On top of that it’s a small company, so the normal internal wholesaler role of both king meetings is only part of my job, I have to close inbound calls and do clerical stuff as well.

Long story short,I like the company culture, but that’s about it and I need something that pays better. Now seeing as my Alma-mater was basically Hustlers university but for the working man, Ive got all my licenses 7/66 nearly 2 years of experience, is there ANY way for me to go into something like commercial banking, lending or even anything non finance related?(aside from advising)

I can do internal wholesing, and like selling into advisors but idk if I really have the proper background for it.
Sorry for the ramble guys, would really appreciate any insight!
