I'm sure this has been covered before. I'm new to bittensor staking and trying to get my head around the fee system. I'm trying to make small test trades and rotate in and out of subnets to test my ability to be profitable.

UBut it seems that the fees on small trades are too expensive, I don't know if it's the same on larger trades as I haven't tried. I'm swapping around $50-$100 at a time and my free TAO balance is getting chewed through, minimum $2 per trade.

I'm trying to find out the fee structure? Is it fixed? Is it a percentage? Am I experiencing slippage? I highly doubt the last one with such small trades. Any info would be appreciated 🙏
