Looking for housing in Seoul (Exchange student at Ewha Womans University, Sep–Dec)

Hi everyone,

I’m going to Seoul from September to December as an exchange student at Ewha Womans University and I’m currently looking for accommodation during my stay.

I’m trying to find either a small apartment or a private room in a shared place. It would be great if the place allows guests occasionally, as my boyfriend will be visiting me sometime during the four months.

Since I’m still new to the housing situation in Seoul, I would really appreciate any tips on websites, platforms, or Facebook groups where I can look for short-term rentals or student-friendly housing. I’ve heard about places like goshiwons and officetels, but I’m not sure what would be best in terms of comfort and flexibility.

If anyone has experience with housing near Ewha or in the Sinchon area, I’d be super grateful for any advice or recommendations!

Thank you so much in advance :)
