Please help name this muppet

All grown up. Came home last week. Retired mama.

I like old timey, nature based names. Other dogs, collies, are Mindy and Gandalf. She's a little baby doll made of sugar. First cavalier after years of indecision. I now must have one for the rest of my life.

Puppy or adult?

So. I have raised puppies of many kinds. Currently have two collies, ages 8 and 2, came home at 12 and 8 weeks respectively.

Collies, though, learn very quickly and are probably the easiest puppies. I'm spoiled.

I do adore puppies, and find myself choosing between an adult retired breeding lady, or a pup perhaps this fall. I guess I'm concerned just how difficult a cav puppy is. The housetraining came so easily to my collies, and the chewing was minimal.

The night wakings, how long/often for that? How many weeks before the pups sleep through the night? Are they reasonable if given toys and attention, or like my friends gsd pup who ate about half the house and pooped on the other half for eight months?

I want a little baby, but realistically need to have an idea what to expect.

If I did bring home the five year old, would she bond with me?
