Gen X Middle Age

When you

* Move in with your parents to care for them, because they did their best caring for you

*Become an Grandma 2 weeks after the plumbing gets ripped out and you can no longer become a mom again

* Find remote work to be close for elderly parents and daughter and Grand daughter

*Set up your office in the same space you slept as a 5 year old

Realize the economy does suck so you hit the gig economy to deliver and shop for others who have lives while feeling guilty for trying to afford your own

*Decide to start working on you 6 mos before turning 50.

Painful Perenium

I week 2 days post op, following a Total Laproscopic Hysterectomy removed Uterus cervix tubes and ovaries as well as removal of endo from rectum. I have relented and purchased Dr Bordeaux Butt Paste for some relief. It is the skin on both sides of the Perenium and bathroom visits became unbearable. Extreme itching one day 2 post top and now there are some open areas like a diaper rash. Anyone else deal with this? Anyone have suggestions???

WTH have I Done???

Total Hysterectomy 3 days ago. Removed Uterus, tubes, Cervix and both Ovaries. The post op report states an Endometriosis Lesion was removed from the Perirectal area. But no specifics.

Deep breaths, burps or coughs cause stabbing pain just under my right rib cage. Steri-strips at umbilicus came off with pressure dressing after 24 hrs. Discomfort in the lower abdominal region and pressure in anus when sitting (I assume from endo excision).

My plan had been to return to work (at home desk job) in 10 days. Seriously reconsidering this. I get exhausted and then feel like I can do small things only to be disappointed.

Any advice or insights much appreciated!
