Punishment for Fake IDs in QLD
Now, I want to preface this post with the fact that this is purely a question. I have not used a fake ID before and I'm not planning on it, but as a teenager, I hear about fakes and am truly curious of what the punishments are.
Also in terms of fake ids, i'm talking about them being used to buy alcohol from bottlos and getting into bars/clubs and concerts.
From what I know there are two popular forms of fake IDs teens use in QLD. An online one showing the qld myID app and a forged screen recording with details (which i know people can get for like 30 ish) and the standard card (runs you around 70-100)
I have a few questions
Would the punishment be different for the use of a forged app rather then the traditional card?
how do they go about punishing people for using the physical card one- Do bouncers and stuff just take the card off you and bin it, do they contact police.
Would the circumstance in which it is used change the punishment?
Also in a scenario where i have like a sister or a friend who looks just like me but is 18 and I take her ID and try to get into a club- would that be a different crime as its a real ID just not mine?
Is it more serious to use all your own details but a different D.O.B. or make an entirely new person.
In general tho what would you typically be charged with?
